Online Dating

Well that was certainly different.

It didn't necessarily debunk my idea of online dating site being a bit phony in what they tell you, but I do think of it in a bit better light than I used to.

I really didn't appreciate all the dollar signs that Eharmony.com  was throwing at me constantly. It definitely felt like they were a bit more interested in your money.

The biggest thing I learned from these sites, is just like everything else, you get what you put into it. If you spend no time on making your profile, spend no money on the site, and have no effort in approaching people then you will never meet anyone on here.

To me, it seems like I would be spending more time and money into online dating than what I feel I would be rewarded for.

But, hey, if it works for you go for it and keep doing what you're doing. Just doesn't seem like something for me.

I hardly have any experience in online dating.

So I am going to go and check out what it is like to use an online dating site for a few hours and see just exactly how it works.

I am going to try setting up a new account using Okcupid.com and Eharmony.com.

To be honest, my current opinion on internet dating sites is that they are phony in how they present themselves, saying that they use all sorts of mathematical equations to help you find matches. But, I believe that finding someone for you is more than just numbers and statistics, there is a lot into finding someone you truly will love.

Who knows though, hopefully one of these sites can prove me wrong and set me up with a hot date!
